Morph
We live in a world shaped by endless influences and stimuli, constantly redefining the human condition. In this ever-changing landscape, the search for identity becomes both urgent and elusive, a pursuit of authenticity in an environment where it often feels fleeting.
Morph explores this tension, delving into the complexities of personal identity that many of us experience.
Through a fusion of digital and analog techniques, Morph creates an immersive, dynamic visual experience. The project incorporates drawing, handwritten text, analog photography, painting (inspired by Jiro Yoshihara’s graphic symbols), and various media. A key element is artificial intelligence, used in a seemingly archaic manner, where the artist controls the machine rather than letting it operate autonomously. This paradox of obsolescence highlights the idea of identity as a fluid, adaptable construct.
